Sam Carter – Quick Release Student Brand Ambassador. Grab him for a chat!

We’re always looking for motivated and caring individuals from the University of Warwick to join our growing team, especially those who put value on delivering technical excellence, instinctive customer service and genuine team fellowship. For this reason we can regularly be found on campus, at careers events or in the Engineering Department, and we have an excellent local student brand ambassador, Sam Carter, who coordinates our Warwick Uni presence and tirelessly works to get the QR name out there. He’s available to talk about careers and other options with Quick Release and can be contacted at sam.carter@quickrelease.co.uk, or on his Uni email (which I’m sure you can look up!), or just grab him for a chat if you see him…

We have upwards of 40 opportunities for graduates to join us throughout the year, including limited spaces on our 4 week long residential training camp which takes place in January. All new starters with QR receive an intensive induction training course regardless of when they join and superb ongoing personal development and support throughout their time with QR. The majority of applicants are from STEM subjects, but if you have a logical mind and like solving technical problems then we want to hear from you whatever your degree discipline.

We also offer a limited number of placements and internships (these are usually limited to STEM students). Please ask for more information on these and we’ll be happy to help, but please be aware that availability is limited.

The majority of graduates joining Quick Release will begin their careers as a Project Analyst, and will usually spend a couple of years in this role before considering the various paths available, including Consultancy, Special Projects (our team of developers), Project Set-up and management. We foster an entrepreneurial spirit throughout and senior management is always open to new ideas, whatever the source. There’s much more info about all of this stuff on the rest of the website – so it’s worth having a look.

If you’re interested in a career or placement with Quick Release and would like to go ahead and apply, you can view the full Project Analyst job spec and application form here! It’s the same form for all opportunities with Quick Release and once completed your details will be on our system for all opportunities open to Warwick students and grads, but you do get the opportunity to select a preference for graduate positions or student placements within the application form.

Forthcoming Events…

Look out for Sam Carter manning a Quick Release stand in the Engineering Department on occasional Wednesdays throughout November. He’ll be signing folks up for a forthcoming “familiarisation” event likely to involve beer & pizza and some of our team will be available to tell you about the various opportunities available with Quick Release. Say hi to Sam and make him feel important – even if you’ve already signed up below – don’t be shy!

If you just want to know more, or maybe you’re interested in attending one of our events (which usually involve free food and booze of some form or another) then complete the “expression of interest” form at the bottom of this page. We promise not to hassle you unnecessarily  or pass on your details and you can get us to remove you from the list at any point – but we will send you a couple of invites to events and let you know if we’re planning anything big on campus… That okay?
