Our Story

…It all began back in 2003. Rob, one of our founders, was working as an engineer at a leading automotive company when he noticed something that he knew had to change: Engineers spent very little time engineering. These invaluable, creative engineers were instead spending time feeding information into systems.

It was slow, frustrating, and without anyone handling the complex product data, the whole company was held back. So Rob and his colleague, Adam, created Quick Release. Now, 14 years later, we’ve grown to 171 employees, empowering some of the biggest OEMs and the most innovative automotive companies in the world to get products to market faster, and at a lower cost.

Our Journey

As part of a review in 2017, we took a look at our history and how far we’ve come. From living off Gregg’s Pasties in the beginning, via strange 4WD team vehicles, new technology and some wonderful and supportive clients, we are now a global business making a real and measurable difference to our customers.

The graphic we prepared shows how far we came from the beginning until August 2017.
